Visionary – Lead Project Sponsor ($1,000 and above)

- Members at the Visionary and Sound Seeker levels receive a mention in the score or in the liner/program notes, a pair of complimentary tickets to a SHHH!! show of your choice, and a copy of one of SHHH!!’s recent recordings.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a new commission usually cost?
It varies! Depending on the duration, composer, and nature of the project it could be several thousands of dollars.
Is there a minimum donation?
No! Any amount is appreciated.
Why can’t you apply for a grant?
We can and we do! But in some cases private sponsorship allows us more freedom: to work on a quicker timeline, to work with composers from outside of Canada, to reimagine/rearrange something from the classical/jazz/pop canon, etc. In other cases, bringing a project to an arts council that is already backed by private donations can help to strengthen the credibility of a crazy idea or to bolster a strained budget.
